Tournament Inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa. on 25th January 2025.

With the grace of our Lord, the first Diocesan badminton tournament was conducted at the Carmel Mar Thoma Center, Atlanta on 25th January 2025. The tournament was inaugurated by Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa. Rev. Skariah Varghese and Rev. Jacob Thomas were present during the event. Various teams from local Parish and out of state parishes participated in the tournament. Mr. Bijesh Thomas from Salem MTC NY and Mr. Midhun Jose from Epiphany MTC NY won the 1st place and Mr. Abraham John and Mr. Shijo Mathew from MTC Atlanta won the 2nd place. Diocesan Bishop presented the winners with ever rolling trophies and cash prizes. The Carmel Center Core committee and MTC Atlanta parish members volunteered to make this event a great success. The guests who participated in the tournament from out of state were given a tour of Carmel Center. Mr. Philip Mathew and Mr. Shyno Thomas served as the convenors of the tournament.
