The Diocese of North America is the first diaspora diocese of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, comprising 68 parishes and 13 congregations across the U.S. and Canada, served by 68 clergy members. The Diocese actively engages in mission work through initiatives such as the Light to Life Project, Mexico Mission, Native American Mission, Neighborhood Mission, and India Mission. Committed to youth development, it provides guidance through clergy and lay youth chaplains. Leadership building is fostered through the Carmel Institute of Education and Culture, while the Mar Thoma Institute of Mission and Culture offers training and continuing education for clergy and lay members. With a strong emphasis on faith, mission, and leadership, the Diocese remains dedicated to spiritual growth and community development in North America.

Our Organizations

The Sunday School is a nurturing haven for children, guided by the mission "Come to Jesus, Bring Every Child to Jesus." Through Bible lessons, prayer, and fellowship, it plants seeds of faith, inspiring young hearts to grow in Christ’s love.

The Youth Fellowship is a vibrant community of young individuals, primarily born and raised in the US, navigating the intersection of faith and culture. Through fellowship, service, and dialogue, they grow spiritually while addressing the unique challenges of their generation.

The Yuvajana Sakhyam is a dynamic youth organization guided by the motto: Worship, Study, Witness, and Service. Dedicated to the spiritual formation of youths, it empowers them to grow in faith, serve the community, and live as Christ’s witnesses.

The Young Family Fellowship is a vibrant gathering of young families, addressing cultural challenges, familial roles, and faith responses. Through fellowship, support, and spiritual growth, it strengthens bonds and guides families to live rooted in Christ’s love.

Guided by faith, the Sevika Sanghom is dedicated to spiritual growth, empowerment, and service. It nurtures the women of the Church through prayer, mentorship, and impactful outreach programs, fostering unity, compassion, and leadership within the church and beyond.

Our Choir is a harmonious blend of devotion and melody, uplifting worship through timeless sacred hymns and liturgical songs. With voices united in faith, they inspire spiritual reflection and create a divine atmosphere, enriching the congregation's connection to God.

The Edavaka Mission is a vibrant prayer fellowship that unites every family in faith and service. It inspires spiritual growth, evangelism, and community outreach and empowers members to live as witnesses of Christ’s love.

The Senior Fellowship brings together elder members for spiritual enrichment, fellowship, and community service. Through prayer, worship, and meaningful discussions, it fosters faith, wisdom, and mutual care, strengthening the church’s mission and intergenerational connections.
