Our Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa, attended a session of the New York State Senate held at the Legislative Office Building in Albany, New York, on Monday, June 3, 2024. During this session, the NYS Senate celebrated and honored Malayalee Heritage. NYS Senator and member of St. John’s MTC (New York), the Honorable Kevin Thomas, initiated this commemoration. On this occasion, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa offered the opening convocation/prayer in Malayalam and English. Rev. George Abraham (Diocesan Secretary), Rev. T. S. Jose (Vicar, St. Andrew’s MTC & Albany Congregation), Rev. Johnson Samuel (Vicar, St. John’s MTC), and many members of the Malayalee community in New York were also in attendance.
