4. Now there are varieties of gifts but the same Spirit,

5. and there are varieties of services but the same Lord,

6. and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone.

7. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

8. To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,

9. to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,

10. to another the working of powerful deeds, to another prophecy, to another the discernment of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

11. All these are activated by one and the same Spirit, who allots to each one individually just as the Spirit chooses. One Body with Many Members

12. For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.

4. आत्मा द्वारा दी गई क्षमताएँ अलग-अलग हैं किन्तु आत्मा एक ही हैं.

5. सेवकाइयाँ भी अलग-अलग हैं किन्तु प्रभु एक ही हैं.

6. काम करने के तरीके भी अनेक हैं किन्तु परमेश्वर एक ही हैं, जो सब मनुष्यों में उनका प्रभाव उत्पन्न करते हैं.

7. हरेक को पवित्रात्मा का प्रकाशन सबके बराबर लाभ के उद्धेश्य से दिया जाता है.

8. आत्मा द्वारा किसी को ज्ञान भरी सलाह की क्षमता और किसी को उन्हीं आत्मा द्वारा ज्ञान भरी शिक्षा की क्षमता प्रदान की जाती है;

9. किसी को उन्हीं आत्मा द्वारा विश्वास की तथा किसी को उन्हीं आत्मा द्वारा चंगा करने की क्षमता प्रदान की जाती है;

10. किसी को सामर्थ्य के काम करने की, किसी को भविष्यवाणी की. किसी को आत्माओं की पहचान की, किसी को अन्य भाषाओं की तथा किसी को भाषाओं के वर्णन की क्षमता.

11. इन सबको सिर्फ एक और एक ही आत्मा के द्वारा किया जाता है तथा वह हर एक में ये क्षमताएँ व्यक्तिगत रूप से बांट देते हैं. शरीर की अनुरूपता: एक शरीर, अनेक अंग

12. जिस प्रकार शरीर एक है और उसके अंग अनेक, शरीर के अंग अनेक होने पर भी शरीर एक ही है; इसी प्रकार मसीह भी हैं.

4. എന്നാൽ കൃപാവരങ്ങളിൽ വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ടു; ആത്മാവു ഒന്നത്രേ.

5. ശുശ്രൂഷകളിൽ വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ടു; കർത്താവു ഒരുവൻ.

6. വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളിൽ വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ടു; എങ്കിലും എല്ലാവരിലും എല്ലാം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ദൈവം ഒരുവൻ തന്നേ.

7. എന്നാൽ ഓരോരുത്തന്നു ആത്മാവിന്റെ പ്രകാശനം പൊതുപ്രയോജനത്തിന്നായി നല്കപ്പെടുന്നു.

8. ഒരുത്തന്നു ആത്മാവിനാൽ ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ വചനവും മറ്റൊരുത്തന്നു അതേ ആത്മാവിനാൽ പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ വചനവും നല്കപ്പെടുന്നു;

9. വേറൊരുത്തന്നു അതേ ആത്മാവിനാൽ വിശ്വാസം, മറ്റൊരുവന്നു അതേ ആത്മാവിനാൽ രോഗശാന്തികളുടെ വരം;

10. മറ്റൊരുവന്നു വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ; മറ്റൊരുവന്നു പ്രവചനം; മറ്റൊരുവന്നു ആത്മാക്കളുടെ വിവേചനം; വേറൊരുവന്നു പലവിധ ഭാഷകൾ; മറ്റൊരുവന്നു ഭാഷകളുടെ വ്യാഖ്യാനം.

11. എന്നാൽ ഇതു എല്ലാം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു താൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുംപോലെ അവനവന്നു അതതു വരം പകുത്തുകൊടുക്കുന്ന ഒരേ ആത്മാവു തന്നേ.

12. ശരീരം ഒന്നും, അതിന്നു അവയവം പലതും ശരീരത്തിന്റെ അവയവം പലതായിരിക്കെ എല്ലാം ഒരു ശരീരവും ആയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആകുന്നു ക്രിസ്തുവും.

27. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.

28. And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then deeds of power, then gifts of healing, forms of assistance, forms of leadership, various kinds of tongues.

29. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work powerful deeds?

30. Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?

31. But strive for the greater gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way.

27. तुम मसीह के शरीर हो और तुममें से हर एक इस शरीर का अंग है.

28. कलीसिया में परमेश्वर ने सबसे पहिले प्रेरितों, दूसरा भविष्यद्वक्ताओं तथा तीसरा शिक्षकों को नियुक्त किया है. इसके बाद उनको, जिन्हें अद्भुत काम, चंगा करने का, भलाई करनेवाले, प्रशासन-प्रबन्ध करने वाले तथा अन्य भाषा बोलने की क्षमता प्रदान की गई है.

29. इसलिए क्या सभी प्रेरित हैं? सभी भविष्यद्वक्ता हैं? सभी शिक्षक हैं? सभी अद्भुत काम करते हैं?

30. क्या सभी को चंगाई करने की क्षमता दी गई है? क्या सभी को अन्य भाषाओं में बात करने की क्षमता दी गई है? क्या सभी को अनुवाद की क्षमता दी गई है? नहीं! पवित्रात्मा द्वारा दी गई क्षमताओं में महत्ता का क्रम

31. सही तो यह होगा कि तुम ऊँची क्षमताओं की इच्छा करो. अब मैं तुम्हें सबसे उत्तम स्वभाव के विषय में बताना चाहूँगा.

27. എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ശരീരവും ഓരോരുത്തൻ വെവ്വേറായി അവയവങ്ങളും ആകുന്നു.

28. ദൈവം സഭയിൽ ഒന്നാമതു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാർ, രണ്ടാമതു പ്രവാചകന്മാർ മൂന്നാമതു ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കന്മാർ ഇങ്ങനെ ഓരോരുത്തരെ നിയമിക്കയും പിന്നെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ, രോഗശാന്തികളുടെ വരം, സഹായം ചെയ്‍വാനുള്ള വരം, പരിപാലനവരം, വിവിധഭാഷാവരം എന്നിവ നല്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

29. എല്ലാവരും അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരോ? എല്ലാവരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരോ? എല്ലാവരും ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കന്മാരോ? എല്ലാവരും വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ ചെയ്യുന്നവരോ?

30. എല്ലാവർക്കും രോഗശാന്തിക്കുള്ള വരംഉണ്ടോ? എല്ലാവരും അന്യഭാഷകളിൽ സംസാരിക്കുന്നുവോ?

31. എല്ലാവരും വ്യാഖ്യാനിക്കുന്നുവോ? ശ്രേഷ്ഠവരങ്ങളെ വാഞ്ഛിപ്പിൻ; ഇനി അതിശ്രേഷ്ഠമായോരു മാർഗ്ഗം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരാം.

19. When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”

20. After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.

21. Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”

22. When he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

23. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” Jesus and Thomas

19. उसी दिन शाम को, जो सप्ताह का पहला दिन था, उसके शिष्य यहूदियों के डर के कारण दरवाज़े बंद किये हुए थे। तभी यीशु वहाँ आकर उनके बीच खड़ा हो गया और उनसे बोला, “तुम्हें शांति मिले।”

20. इतना कह चुकने के बाद उसने उन्हें अपने हाथ और अपनी बगल दिखाई। शिष्यों ने जब प्रभु को देखा तो वे बहुत प्रसन्न हुए।

21. तब यीशु ने उनसे फिर कहा, “तुम्हें शांति मिले। वैसे ही जैसे परम पिता ने मुझे भेजा है, मैं भी तुम्हें भेज रहा हूँ।”

22. यह कह कर उसने उन पर फूँक मारी और उनसे कहा, “पवित्र आत्मा को ग्रहण करो।

23. जिस किसी भी व्यक्ति के पापों को तुम क्षमा करते हो, उन्हें क्षमा मिलती है और जिनके पापों को तुम क्षमा नहीं करते, वे बिना क्षमा पाए रहते हैं।” यीशु का थोमा को दर्शन देना

19. ആഴ്ചവട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം നാൾ ആയ ആ ദിവസം, നേരംവൈകിയപ്പോൾ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ ഇരുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു യെഹൂദന്മാരെ പേടിച്ചു വാതിൽ അടെച്ചിരിക്കെ യേശു വന്നു നടുവിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു: നിങ്ങൾക്കു സമാധാനം എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

20. ഇതു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവൻ കയ്യും വിലാപ്പുറവും അവരെ കാണിച്ചു; കർത്താവിനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു ശിഷ്യന്മാർ സന്തോഷിച്ചു.

21. യേശു പിന്നെയും അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾക്കു സമാധാനം; പിതാവു എന്നെ അയച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാനും നിങ്ങളെ അയക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

22. ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞശേഷം അവൻ അവരുടെമേൽ ഊതി അവരോടു: പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ കൈക്കൊൾവിൻ.

23. ആരുടെ പാപങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങൾ മോചിക്കുന്നവോ അവർക്കു മോചിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ആരുടെ പാപങ്ങൾ നിർത്തുന്നുവോ അവർക്കു നിർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
