Sunday School Junior & Senior Conference of Southeast Region held this year at Bry Athyn College near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from June 04th to July 07th, 2024. Theme for this year’s conference was Chosen For …. 1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light”. Diocesan Episcopa Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulose Thirumeni along with Rev. George Abraham (Diocesan Secretary), Very Rev. K. Y. Jacob achen and other clergy from Southeast Region attended the conference. Philadelphia Youth Chaplain Rev. Jeff J. Philips, New Jersey Youth Chaplain Rev. Jess M. George, Ms. Neethi Prasad Kochamma, Ms. Reni John, NJ, Dr. Betsy Mathew, NY, and Rev. Dr. K. Jameson led the conference sessions. Southeast Regional Sunday School committee gave the leadership for coordinating this conference. Students participated in worship, singing, Holy Communion, bible studies, design groups activities such as envisioning future of the Mar Thoma Church in North America. Students also participated in the talent night. Sunday school students from 12 parishes & congregation attended the conference from 4 different US eastern states namely Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and Maryland. Approximately 200 people attended conference including students, chaperones and volunteers. This conference was a blessing for all those who
attended.
